tax annoyance and boy

Last night I went to get my taxes done. As I have mentioned about 10,0000 times already, I had plans to go out and buy a KitchenAid stand mixer in Empire Red the very second that I got my tax refund. Stand mixer is going to have to wait some more. I didn't take a look at my W2 before I went to the accountant's office (smart, I know) because I figured it's all done electronically, so what can be wrong with it? Plenty, apparently. Instead of putting down my annual salary and then the amount of taxes that was taken out, my HR wrote my salary as annual minus taxes and left the tax line blank which makes it look like I didn't pay any taxes this year. Lovely. Now I have to go and have them get me a corrected W2 so I can go back and do my taxes.

On a happier note, cute boy called me last night to set plans for tonight. His hours are later than mine, and the earliest he could meet is 7:30. Since I work right near my mother's house, I'm just going to go there after work and change, which spares me the confusion of figuring out what to wear to an after-work date. I brought dark jeans, Tory flats and my new Juicy flats, and several cute tops to change into and will play it by ear. We're going to a bar for drinks and pub trivia. I am a big dork and absolutely love random trivia and am really good at it (::toot toot:: <---sound of me tooting my own horn) so I got so excited when he said that. I immediately started texting Getting Lost in London to let her know. He has a great sense of humor and is a really nice guy so I'm looking forward to this one. Of course, if he starts telling me that his only hobby is watching porn, I will have to become a lesbian.
