Hello friends! I apologize for being such a bad blogger and for neglecting you for almost two weeks! Today, TLS and I are flying back to NYC. He is going to be here with me for 5 days and we get to meet each other's parents. Oh boy. Pray for us, please.
I *promise* that eventually, I will be able to upload pictures and show you all of my Turkey, England, and France pictures. Until then, I wanted to leave you with one of my favorite places in Paris.
When I was in Paris back in 1998, I fell in love with Sainte Chappelle. It is close to Notre Dame and its stained glass windows are breathtaking and are really like nothing else in the world. As soon as TLS and I started talking about Paris, I knew I had to take him there since he's never been. Sadly, due to weather conditions, it was closed while we were in Paris. Since we were unable to see it in person, I wanted to share of my favorite travel must sees with all of you.

Greetings from 30,000 feet!
Since it's been a whopping four days since my last flight, obviously I am once again on a plane. I am flying to England for 2.5 weeks to see TLS. I was supposed to have a later flight, but it got switched due to the storm that's supposed to reach the Northeast tonight. As a result, I am flying JFK-Atlanta, Atlanta-Amsterdam, and Amsterdam-England. That is a lot of Skymiles! Since this is a domestic flight, I was able to use Wifi on the flight! So cool and awesome! It's very fitting and appropriate that the song I'm currently listening to is Brad Paisley's Welcome to the Future.

Rabbit Rabbit
When I was in second grade, my teacher taught our class that you're supposed to say "Rabbit Rabbit" on the first of every month for good luck. Of the many random things that she taught me, this is one that always stuck. (The fact that Peter Stuyvesant's nickname was "Peg Leg Pete" is another. I said this in the car to KMH this morning, and the thought I was crazy. I thought that it might have been something that my teacher made up, so I did a google search for it and found that it's
a common superstition. You're supposed to say either "Rabbit Rabbit White Rabbit" or just "Rabbit Rabbit" on the first of every month for good luck. Since we could all use a little more luck, Rabbit Rabbit all.
