I have a fever and the only prescription is more pink and green

I just found out from my boss that a report I had due at 5:00pm Monday got bumped to 3:30pm tomorrow. So naturally I'm freaking out. What am I doing about it? If you guessed spending all of my time on the Lilly site to make a wishlist, then give yourself a pat on the back. How am I supposed to get any work done?

Also, not only is today tax day, it is also 3 months to my birthday. I have decided to buy myself a present since you need to spoil yourself when you are single. As of right now, I am debating between a nice piece of jewelry from Tiffany or Yurman, or orchestra seats for me and J for the Jimmy Buffett concert in August. What would you pick? I'm torn. Here are the options:
David Yurman Cable Pearl Ring, $450

David Yurman Petite Albion Pearl Ring, $625

David Yurman Petite Albion Blue Topaz Ring, $590


Tiffany & Co. Tiffany Knots Cuff, $525

(I guess the fact that it's no longer avaiable makes making a choice one item easier)

Orchestra seats to Buffett and the ability to see this again live:


Can't you feel them circling honey? Can't you feel them swimming around? You got fins to the left, fins to the right, and you're the only bait in town.



So, what do I do? Sadly, getting them all is not an option.

    I'd pick a yurman ring if it were mean and those were the only choices. But if you are a huge Buffett fan thats a really good option bc memories last longer than even jewelry :)

    Hmmm I love the DY pearl rings! My sister has the first one with the black Tahitian pearl and it's so beautiful!! Good for you for treating yourself for your b-day! Good idea :)

    Well, considering we are HUGE Buffett fans and have travelled to Vegas (Oct 08) to see him in concert... and are going to Tampa next week to see him again, I'll say concert. However, the first 2 rings are gorgeous! I love pearls.

    Something to consider, Buffett will tour again, so there is always time to save up and gather a big group to go to the next concert... the best is tailgating w/ a big group before the concert.

    I'm a girly girl, but hands down, I'd say orchestra seats at JB. You have your whole life to buy jewelry=)

    oooh.. what a tough decision! of course, i would HAVE to say every girl needs a little more David in her life! Pearls so classy and I've had my eye on the Cable Pearl ring to match my Pave and Pearl cuff for months now.. so I would have to pick that one! Although, the tuquoise would be a pretty little Spring edition as well! J, however? Might have other thoughts- Haha. My Hubs is Buffett OBSESSED and would be a little sad if I chose David over Jimmy! Haha! Good luck choosing! Let us know what you decide! :)

    Love the topaz ring (I've got one myself... it's my birthstone)! But I think I'd go with the concert tickets. Brief story: I had an item of jewelry that I used for $$ for a trip to New Orleans. The necklace was nice, but the memories of my trip are soooo much better!

    I love love love the David Yurman Cable pearl ring! And it's the cheapest! The concert would be fun but a ring you could have forever. And you and your man could do something else to create fun memories without spending as much money!

    The first DY ring. You always have it and recall why/when you bought it each time you wear it -- Okay I'm showing my age, but I'm over the whole concert scene, just put JB on the ipod and have some friends over for margaritas.

    Tough decision, but I really love and have always loved the David Yurman Petite Albion Blue Topaz Ring. So pretty!

    i absolutely love the dy pearl rings and almost got one for my birthday BUT found out that dy does not have any guarantee on their rings and that it is common for the pearl to fall out... it is something important to think about when considering getting the ring because they require a lot of care!

    good luck deciding!! i think all the choices are fabulous!

    I love the first ring, but I've always heard that experiences make people more satisfied in life than acquiring "things". however, I like pretty things :)

    My favorite are options 2 and 3. I LOVE David Yurman :) You are totally worth it. Splurge on yourself if you can.
