Am I the only one who thinks this is crazy?
Rue La La is having a Shreve, Crump, & Low sale now. The prices go as high $70,000 (yes, that price is in USD). I understand that these are expensive, quality pieces that they are selling, but are people really ok with spending that much money on a piece of jewelry off the internet without seeing it in person first? Also, how many people just happen to have a spending limit that high on their credit cards? And what if you get the jewelry in the mail and you don't like it, are you just stuck with 70 grand in online credit?

I don't think I would ever buy a piece of jewelery for $70,000 online that I could not see in person first!
ReplyDeleteJust a little weird, I agree... xxxooo

ReplyDeleteI guess if you have a spare 75K just sitting around to blow on online jewelry, then, your 75K online credit isn't a big deal. I'm sure you could find 75K worth of goods over a period of time on there. LOL=) Or, they can just give the 75 grand to me!!!
ReplyDeleteAgreed, that's a lotta bones to be playing with on the internet.
ReplyDeleteso bizarre!
ReplyDeleteNever in my entire life would I buy anything that cost remotely that expensive on the internet. And why does someone who has $70000to drop on that kind of thing need Rue La La anyway?!?!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what you are talking about. I just bought 5 of their items off Rue La La! Psh!
ReplyDeleteJ.K. It's a Friday afternoon and I'm getting just a little silly. :) You're right - it's insane!
I would NEVER buy something for over $1500 without seeing it in person, so $70,000 would be way beyond my limit. Also, as you said what if the piece does not work and you are then stuck with it...not for me!
ReplyDeleteI'm playing catch up, and definitely missed this sale. What in the world?!?!?! I wonder if they sold anything???
