Case in point.
The other day, about three or four people suggested that we number the the back of our reply cards so that if someone sends us a blank reply card, we'll still know who it's from. The only suggested that after we got this reply card in the mail.
A word of advice to all you brides- put a number in pencil on the back of your reply cards and keep a list of who has what number. This way, if you get a reply card like the one above, you won't get stuck trying to figure out who it's from. Information that would have been useful for us to know about a month ago.
Doesn't that make you wonder what goes on in some people's minds?! Ahhhh! Thankfully someone warned me to put numbers on the backs. I would have had a mess otherwise. Hope you don't get any more like that!!!
ReplyDeleteugh, how frustrating! i actually read that tip in a wedding magazine and thought it sounded kind of silly, but now i will def be taking your advice. wish this guy had told you sooner :(

ReplyDeleteVery heard of that until I just got an invite from a friend the other day. I think it is great if people tell you before!! BTW going to my first Jewish wedding this summer so I might have some questions on what is appropriate to wear etc..

My aunt warned me to do that after my cousins bar/bat mitzvahs. SO SMART to do! We didn't have any blank ones.. but we did have some responses with no last name!

ReplyDeleteI found out that little trick after we sent them out, too. However, I have to say, fail to the people who don't put return address stickers OR write their name on the otherwise blank rsvp card. It's not all YOUR fault. It's hardly difficult to write your own name!
