Thank you to everyone who entered this giveaway. I had hoped for more responses since I have quite a few followers, and this was an easy one to enter, so thank you to everyone who did. It was interesting to see what organizations are important to my readers. The organization that received the most entries by far was St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, followed by Fisher House. Popular categories were organizations that deal with children and animals.

Third I want to thank your readers who posted in support of the Fisher House. My brother is a Marine and was injured on his second tour of duty in the gulf at Thanksgiving of 2005. He was eventually airlifted all the way to Bethesda and the Fisher House provided great comfort and aid for my family while we waited those first 36 hours, and then for the next two weeks. The Fisher House is an amazing program. I would also encourage everyone to research other amazing military support programs including the USO, Operation Wounded Warrior, The Hero Miles Program (don't have enough miles for a free ticket? Donate them!), and the USMC has the Semper Fi Fund.
