Lululemon

Hi ladies. So as you know, lately I have gotten really into working out. I've lost some weight and need to get new clothes (what a shame) and would also like to get some workout clothes. I've been wanting something cute that doesn't scream "I have no life outside of the gym" but also want something that's a step up from my current wardrobe "Corona, Halloween 2005." I've been seeing Lululemon clothes on some people and think that they are adorable. However, I don't know anyone who's ever worn them and the website doesn't list prices. Have any of you ever tried Lululemon? How do the clothes fit? How much do they retail for? Are they worth the price tag? Otherwise, are there any other items that you can recommend to yours truly?

  1. I don't own any Lululemon but there's a huge store in Chicago that I always walk through. The clothes aren't priced horribly, but I admit - I buy workout clothes when they're on the cheap sale rack at Sports Authority. :) However, Lululemon has some good sales, too...I'm just never there at the right time!

  2. I just recently became aware of Lululemon and am totally obsessed, even though I don't own any (yet).

I'm pretty sure there are a few stores in the city that you can check out, and there's one in Greenwich, CT, too.

  3. I'm partial to UnderArmour. Their sports bras are the best. And their shorts are cute but also functional.

  4. LLL Will be the BEST workout stuff you EVER buy. It is pretty pricey but I find it so worth it...especially the pants!! I can never find long enough workout pants and these are right on target. Plus the tops are really cute and the material is great!

I agree with Meggers too though, I'm a big UA girl myself...especially their new training shoes!!

  5. I LOVE lululemon. It's a bit pricey for workout wear in my opinion (pants around 70 and some of their pull overs are over 100). I have to find any retailers that sell their stuff online, but there are a few stores in Manhattan

  6. I love lululemon as well, but I hear you on its clothes being pricey. When they first came out here in Canada, they were affordable but as they've become popular, the prices have risen. I try to stalk their sale stuff and have been lucky to snag a few items this way. The clothes are high quality - last for years. Just make sure you don't put them in the dryer.

  7. Lululemon is such a fun store. We have one on M street here in Georgetown. The prices are a bit expensive for clothes you'll be sweating in, in my opinion. But, they are pretty stylish :)

  9. I've heard good things but also heard it is pricey. I really like Lucy. They are a bit cheaper I think.

  10. I'm a convert to Under Armour. It works well if you sweat quite a bit (we all sweat when we work out but I mean excessively).

  11. I've wanted to check this out too, it's so strange they don't have online ordering. Hate that!

  12. I've read that they are pretty pricy- but let us know if you try them out. In the mean time, go to Tar-jay. They have a great selection of work-out basics. Can't go wrong with basic colors at cheap prices.
